Evolution Whistler opened July 1st 1995. An energetic 21 year old wrote the business plan, saved up some funds working in Japan, secured a location in her home town of Whistler and opened up a bike and snowboard shop. 25+ years later we are definitely still Evolving with the industries and technologies - but one thing has stayed the same for Jenine & the Evolution Crew: mad passion for riding mountains, and helping others have the best experiences in the mountains as well!

At 21 years of age, Jenine wrote the business plan for a bike and snowboard shop. The business incorporated in April 95 and Evolution Whistler opened July 1st 1995. As Whistler grows and changes (evolves!), Jenine's excitement for riding down mountains is as wild as ever, and helping others have as much fun possible in the mountains brings her joy.

Our shop manager is part mountain machine. The number of days Trev rides his bike and snowboards each year is hard to wrap you head around. The number of days he rides his bike usually hits 350 each year and the number of days snowboarding is over 100. Just try and beat this guy up a climb on your 29er hardtail!!! Nope.
