Returns & Refunds
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

Returns
You have 30 days to return an item from the date it was purchased.
To be eligible for return, items must be unused and in the same condition as purchased.
Items must be in the original packaging.
Customers need to have the receipt or proof of purchase.
We do not offer returns on sale items.
When returning your item we will inspect it, notify you of the decision and organise a refund.
Warranty Procedure
If you feel a product has a viable warranty claim under the specific conditions of the manufacturer, please fill out our warranty form to initiate the warranty process.

For bike and snowboard equipment please note the serial number and include a clear photo of the serial number.
Refunds
​
If your return is approved, we will can refund to your credit card or with cash. You can also use it as store credit at a later date if you have a store account at Evolution.
You will receive the credit within a week, depending on your card issuer's policies.

Snowboard Rental Information
​

The easiest way to book your snowboard gear rental is through our CheckFront service found here
​
Using the menu bar you can navigate between all our rental offerings from powder boards to park boards. Specify your date and pick your model of board, and go on to complete your rider details and board setup. If you are unsure of what board to pick (or you are a beginner) - we suggest you pick a board that we have labeled ALL MOUNTAIN EASY-RIDER, or a TWIN EASY-RIDER. If you would like a different board when you arrive we will simply change your board at that time - no worries, we will send you up on the most ideal board for YOU!
Through our online system you can pay for damage waivers and sign the liability release before your arrival, making it easy on the day of your ride; however, you are also able to sign your documents once you arrive at the shop for your rental. You may also choose to add a damage waiver, helmet or boots to your rental once you arrive at the shop.
Our online reservation system has a secure payment system via PayPal and Moneris.
Cancellations will be refunded in full if made 48 hours or longer before the reservation date.

Before your ride.
​
You will be receiving a separate email with the Liability Waiver to read and sign before you arrive.
Please ensure you have your ID and Credit Card to collect your rental equipment from us.
Should you not have your ID and Credit Card, you will unfortunately not be able to collect your rental equipment. Please see terms & conditions below for more details.

SNOWBOARD:
*We will have the boards setup to your stance preference and boots prepared based on the details specified on the booking form. Please email or call us if you need to change/update any rider details
*Remember to prepare properly for a day on the mountain. You will need sufficient warm water resistance clothing, good gloves, socks, goggles at a minimum.
*If you wish to ride with your own bindings please bring them along to the store with all the relevant mounting hardware.

BIKE:
*Pick up your Bike Park Pass BEFORE you come to Evolution to collect your DH BIKE
*Your bike will be set-up for you per the information you entered for your weight and rider ability - however we will make all requested adjustments to the bike before you ride and also any adjustments you request during the day. Multi-day riders will be on the same bike for the rental period, so we do encourage you to let us know if you would like adjustments to dial in the bike for YOU!

On the day SNOWBOARD RENTALS
​
SNOWBOARD RENTAL Pick up is either between 6pm & 8pm the evening before or any time after 8:30am the first day of your rental. Evolution opens at 8:30am and closes at 8pm. Evolution is located between the main Village Square (Grocery Store, Liquor Store, Araxi's, Beacon) and the Conference Centre. There is parking at the Conference Centre across from our shop; or directly behind our shop at the Village Green (street) which is at the hotel entrances of Adara, Crystal Lodge and Listel. There is also parking at the Village Day Lots.
When you arrive at the store please allow 20-30 minutes for checking-in, trying on your boots and finalizing the board setup.

Remember you are engaging in a strenuous physical activity, it is best to fuel up and warm-up accordingly. Make sure you have everything to be comfortable for a day on the mountain
​
Please take care of your rental gear. Theft and negligent use is not covered in you damage waiver, therefore we ask customers to not leave their equipment unattended, unnecessarily impact the board or attempt any activity the board is not suitable for.
At any point during your rental feel free to drop your rental board off for a tune. We recommend not going more than 3 days without an edge & wax -so drop it back in for a wax any time during your rental period!
We offer 10% off any additional purchases in Evolution Whistler during your rental period.

On the day BIKE RENTALS
​
BIKE RENTAL Pick up is from 9:30am onwards - anytime.
​
PLEASE PICK UP YOUR BIKE PARK PASS BEFORE YOU ARRIVE AT EVOLUTION. You pick up your day ticket card at Guest Relations which is open from 8am to 6pm daily. You can pick up your ticket any day before you ride. You can also simply load your past RFID card through your WB account page.
​
Please allow 30 minutes for checking-in, finalizing documents, confirming your ID & CC to be left at Evolution in exchange for your rental bike, confirming your set-up and making any further adjustments
​
If you are unfamiliar with the Whistler Bike Park, we will give you advice before you leave with your bike. ​
​
We recommend that you bring your rental DH BIKE to Evolution for storage if you are taking a break for food or rest. We will securely lock your bike, we will give you your CC & ID, and we can make any adjustments you would like while you take your break.

Rental Terms & Conditions
All renters are required to fill out the Release of Liability form, and there is an optional Damage Waiver that may be purchased for $30 per day to cover damages to the rental equipment. You can read and sign the Release of Liability form once you recieve your rental confirmation by email, or you can drop into the store to complete the form the day before your reservation, or the morning of the reservation. It takes about 5 minutes to fill out the paperwork - it is only necessary once per rental period.

You must provide a valid credit card and Government ID in order to collect rental equipment at the store. These are securely kept with your paperwork for the duration of the rental (Snowboard rentals will have copies made and you may take your cards with you). This is a non-negotiable condition for our rentals and is there to protect us from theft. We realize this can be an inconvenience for some however we ask that you plan your trip accordingly with this condition in mind.

If you do not have your ID and a credit card when picking up your bike, we are more than happy to give you a full refund or move your reservation to another date.
​
**NOTE: Whistler Blackcomb ticket office requires that you show ID - please purchase and pick up your ticket BEFORE coming to pick up your DH BIKE rental**
Any rider under 19 years of age must have a guardian present during their equipment collection.
​
Multi-Day pricing applies to the same bike or snowboard booked for multiple days for the same rider. The days do not have to be consecutive (please contact us by phone or email if you need assistance with multi-day reservations.
​
Rental equipment should be returned to Evolution as soon as possible should any issue arise.
BIKE RENTALS must be returned to Evolution daily by 7:30pm ($20 fee after 8pm) . And SNOWBOARD RENTALS must be returned by 5pm on the last day of your rental period.

The reservation payment is refundable if you cancel a minimum of two full days in advance: 604-932-2967 / shop@evolutionwhistler.com
We reserve the right to withdraw a reservation at any point.

Damage Waiver IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
​
Rental Snowboard Damage Waiver: Our damage waiver is there to protect against accidents within reasonable use. It does not cover theft negligent use. We do not offer damage waivers on Split boards and Powder boards until there is a 150cm base
​
Rental Bike Damage Waiver: covers up to $1000 dollars of damage while riding in the Whistler Bike Park. Does not cover theft negligent use.

COVID-19 Action Plan
Following the guidelines of the Provincial Health Authority, we have created a specific Covid-19 Action Plan for our store

Established hygiene practices and proper Covid-19 protocol has been communicated to all staff

Currently, all customers & employees must sanitize before entering the store

Maximum six customers plus the staff inside the shop at one time.

The shop has been fitted with sufficient signage outlining these measures before entering.

We have 3 fans and a ventilation system running at all times and our two doors are open throughout our working hours.
